Church at Lake Mead Core Beliefs

We believe the Bible to be the only divinely inspired, authoritative, Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that man is sinful by nature and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and an absolute necessity for his salvation.

We believe that salvation is a gift of God, and it is the blood of Christ that fully justifies the believer’s sin.

We believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit, and by his indwelling power the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust. The just will be bodily resurrected unto eternal life; the unjust will be bodily resurrected unto eternal death and separation from the Father.

BAPTISM BELiefs

"And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on [Jesus'} name." ACTS 22:16
The Church at Lake Mead believes that baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in.
